Hi. We had a quiet vegetarian Thanksgiving, and went to the Central Park view, did some crafts around the house, and went to some unphotographable public art in a Manhattan park. Plus, Grammy and Grandpapa (whom Jojo calls "Popop") came in for a cameo! Enjoy!

Doctor's Visit

Quick note to let you know that Josephine is 36.5 inches tall (ie able to see tempting things at kitchen counter height) and 30 pounds, which are both 97% for height and weight. According to online calculators, Your girl will likely be 5 ft. 11 in. at age 18. Wowza, no need for heels!

Anyway the more salient issue is that at the doc's, Jojo got a flu shot, a TB test, and a blood sample withdrawn. So, three needles. I was expecting the worst, but she dispassionately watched the needle go in each time and never cried, never winced, never whelped, nothing. The nurse said she'd never seen such a great reaction in her thirty years of jabbing babies... such a tough kid!

Halloween 2008

Here are our halloween pictures (among a few others). First Josephine's school had a party and a parade through the neighborhood, then our co-op had a big festival. Too much sugar!

Hey Ya'll

It has been a loooong time! What happened was is that our camera broke - slightly untrue, we stupidly let Josephine "hold it" and it lasted all of about 10 seconds of that. Anyhoo, we're back on track with a new one and have a few random snaps for your perusal; more to come soon as we figure out the dials and whatnot.

Also, we have birthday pictures, too. There was also a little party at school - it has been a sugarlicious month so far. We are now getting really serious about toothbrushing.

Hello. We've got a mess of photos here -- our friends Robert and Mary at a rawk club, a visit with our neighbor Roe, dangerous play with Quinton the cat, a squirrel enjoying a slice at our playground -- but most of these were taken on the way to and in Battery Park City in lower Manhattan last weekend. JoJo saw a good many boats, tall buildings, sports, and white people. Most of these are still a mystery to her, but I think she's catching on. The Pope was in town, which for some reason made the helicopter traffic heavy (Popemoflies? Holycopters?), and that occupied a lot of J's time.

Spring is coming, we think

Hey everybody,

How's it going? Jojo says "hi" to everyone. We have pictures of all of you guys (the only people who see this website are familiy) so Jojo is getting to know you, as every night we wave to every person in the pictures before going to bed.

New pictures are available here - it's getting harder and harder to take a picture of the child, as she is getting quite grabby with the camera. Gotta sneak up on her.

Catching up!

Ah the whirlwind end of 2007! First we have for you a few pix of ole everyday life between Thanksgiving and Christmas, including a very nice south indian meal with friends, and then we hit the road again to visit Grandma and Grandpa at the farm in PA. They of course thoroughly stripped our camera of hundereds of images, so this is but a smattering of a prodigious number of pixels of our trip to the wonderland known as a mall, walking around the farm, and all sorts of whatnot. We also had a lovely Korean BBQ meal at our dear friends Christoff and Ashley, in which Jojo crashed at 8PM in their bed, and we all had champagne.
