Jojo's imaginary friend is Romy. She takes the form of any doll who happens to be any Jojo's arms, but usually she's just a patch of air that Jojo talks to. Here's a conversation we had at a playground today, after Jojo had sung Happy Birthday to her.
---How old is Romy today?
"5 years old."
---What does she like to eat?
"only milk, mama, she only a little baby!"
---Oh, I see.
"That's okay, Romy. You wanna cookie? [beat]
Mama, I have a baby in my tummy."
---Wow, you're pregnant? Congratulations! When are you having your baby?
"Um, three days. Romy have a baby in her tummy, too."
